Did you know that 360 million people worldwide have hearing loss? Did you know 32 million of those people are children?
At Associates In Hearing, we cannot stand by and allow this to continue. That is why we are launching a war against hearing loss. When a person conquers hearing loss, they unlock potential they never knew existed. This leads to better lives, connected families, and thriving communities.
By partnering with us today, you can help change someone’s life and help them reconnect with the things that matter most.
We saw this little girl when we were in Guatemala. She was 11 years old. She had a bead in her ear that had been there since she was a little tiny toddler. She used to complain of her ear hurting every night when she went to bed. It was just a little plastic bead that had been there for nine years. It’s that crazy, hard to imagine,” says one of the doctors on the trip.
Thousands go without basic hearing healthcare which impacts lives. Kids are unable to go to school, learn and make friends while adult isolates themselves for fear of embarrassment and safety reasons.
With your help, Associates in Hearing can travel to Guatemala to give kids and adults a chance to realize their potential. With support from people like you, we will have the chance to potentially screen more than a thousand people mostly kids in Panajachel, Guatemala.
There has never been a better opportunity to make your gift count and give the gift of hearing. With audiologists and volunteers from around the country, we have the opportunity to change the trajectory of people’s lives. But we need your help! Please give today.
Our Impact At Home.
Our audiology practice has been helping the residents of Bucks and Montgomery County with their hearing loss for over 30 years. During that time we have seen a need for residents who can’t afford the cost of audiology services. We don’t believe cost should ever be a roadblock on your road to better hearing. Through the birth of Hearing the Call – Greater Philadelphia, all residents know have a path to improving their hearing health while playing a part in restoring their community through giving back.
Associates In Hearing + Hearing The Call
Our mission is to provide the best hearing healthcare services to the underserved residents of Bucks and Montgomery Counties while providing them the platform to give back to the community through volunteering at local non-profits.
Our vision is that NO PERSON is prevented from full participation in life due to hearing loss. We see our circle of giving model as a path to grow our community and enhance people’s support for their neighbor.
Our promise is to help people who want to stay active and are committed to improving their quality of life through better hearing.
1 in 5 Americans suffers from hearing loss to an extent that interferes with communication. We believe no one should miss out on participating fully in life because of hearing loss. Untreated hearing loss has a devastating impact on individuals, families, and communities. Sadly, even Medicare does not cover any of the costs of treating hearing loss, nor do many health insurance plans.
Our Give Back Model
Qualified participants will show proof of financial need, pay a small fee for their hearing devices and give back volunteer hours in their community as a way to say “Thank you” to the local companies, families and friends that are donating for their care.
